How to maintain and safely clean
The Closet Company storage systems

For regular cleaning of your storage systems, use ONLY a mixture of warm water (99%) and a mild, nonabrasive detergent (1%). You can mix this in a spray bottle or a cleaning bucket. Saturate a clean cotton or microfiber towel with the mixture from a bucket, or lightly mist your pieces if using a spray bottle. Wipe your storage pieces in a vertical direction, applying only light gentle pressure.

Maintenance dusting can be done with a dry microfiber towel or Swiffer duster.

Here are some of the products we use: nonabrasive detergent, microfiber towels, cotton towels, bucket, spray-bottle, Swiffer duster.

DO NOT USE any abrasive detergents, vinegar-based cleaners, furniture polish, ammonia, lacquer thinner, alcohol-based cleaners, or any product with acetone as they may damage the finish of your storage.

DO NOT USE abrasive brushes, scrubbing pads, or paper towels, as they will scratch the surface of your storage systems.

DO NOT saturate your storage systems with water or detergent, this may cause your system to bulge out.
